It is the 4th of July weekend. The BBQ vibe is in the air. It is inevitable that you will be surrounded by loved ones and friends at least at one gathering this week. Laughter, music, and no doubt food will be at every event. Granted you cannot control everything that will be brought to the party (unless you are hosting and are so gracious as to tell everyone you will be supplying the entire event). There are so many ways to keep to your plan and bring some good wholesome food that will keep you in line with your health goals! I've compiled a few ideas aside from the general meat and veggies to grill that you can bring and yes even a few drinks that I've recently stumbled across that are low on the sugar end!
Spicy Dip:1 cup Fage Greek 0% Yogurt and add
Skinny Mexican Grilled Corn ( I had to add this one for my husband, this is definately a version we will try!)
One of the best ones I have found so far that dont veer me to far off my path is the hard flavored tonic water, its low or zero sugar and low calories. Currently I have tried the Smirnoff brand! So far so good! You can also check out my drinking guide here for more ideas
